Web2 days ago · The brick church building at 1151 Harrison Ave. in Astoria was completely in 1947. The building was originally started to be a Christian Science Reading room. When the funds for that project didn’t come through, Astoria Christian Church purchased the building and completed the project. They have held weekly church services there ever since.
